Clearwater is a friendly town in British Columbia. It has
a population of approximately 2,700 people. The area itself is spread over a
larger area with no real central downtown district. If you are coming in
from the direction of Kamloops the "Welcome to Clearwater" sign is
about 15 kilometers before you reach the actual town.
The Clearwater /Wells Gray KOA is located at 373 Clearwater Valley Road. This is the
road to Wells Gray Provincial Park. We are located one block up from the
Wells Gray / Clearwater Visitor Information Center which is just off Highway #5.
Look for the big moose at the info centre and turn north, we are 200m up on the
left side.
Enter at the KOA campground entrance. The office is located in the
middle of the property by the swimming pool.
We are located 30 minutes from the main entrance of Wells Gray Provincial
Park, 10 kilometres from Spahats Falls. The
Dutch Lake public beach is only a two minute drive away. A number of restaurants
are within walking distance of the resort and shopping is also close
by.
